Our Advisory Board

He is a Non-resident Fellow at the NITI Aayog. He currently supports couple of nonprofits and public policy institutions.
Ajit Isaac, the founder of Quess Corp, is an entrepreneur who over a period of 20 years, has been involved in creating market-leading enterprises in the business services sector in India. At Quess, and under his leadership, the Company is now a 5,11,000+ strong family, with ~US$ 2 Billion in revenues, and has accelerated the transition of informal jobs to formal platforms, helping bring financial and social security to many not-so-privileged sections of Indian society.
He is the founder and CEO of the Convergence Foundation (TCF), which is focused on accelerating India’s economic growth and development. He is also the founding chairperson, Board of Trustees of Ashoka University, and founder of Central Square Foundation, a nonprofit foundation working to improve the quality of education for all children in India.
He was educated in Economics at St. Stephens College and Law at the Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi and obtained his Ph.D in Economics from IIM Bangalore. He joined the IAS in 1983 and superannuated from the service in 2019.
He belongs to the 1988 batch of the Indian Administrative Service. He has more than 34 years of experience in the Civil Service working in the state of Haryana and the Central Government. In the Central Government he has served as Revenue Secretary, Economic Affairs Secretary and Joint Secretary Financial Services. In the State of Haryana, he has mostly worked in the areas of Finance, Taxation, Industry and Infrastructure Development. He has also served as the Managing Director of a few State Public Sector Companies.
He has a PhD (1997) in economics from Duke University with a thesis on “The Time Path of Macro Variables under Alternative Structural Settings”. Prior to that he got his Masters’ degrees from the Delhi School of Economics (1985) and Duke University (1994), and a bachelor’s degree from Hindu College, University of Delhi. He has lectured extensively and written on economics, finance, regulation, public service delivery and other public policy issues.
She belonged to the 1974 batch of the IAS (MP Cadre). She served in both the State and Centre in various capacities in the finance, agriculture, food, water resources, and rural sectors as well as in culture, tourism, personnel, and general administration.
